These Royals will ruin you.
Easton Royal has it all: looks, money, intelligence. His goal in life is to have as much fun as possible. He never thinks about the consequences because he doesn’t have to.
Until Hartley Wright appears, shaking up his easy life. She’s the one girl who’s said no, despite being attracted to him. Easton can’t figure her out and that makes her all the more irresistible.
Hartley doesn’t want him. She says he needs to grow up.
She might be right.
Rivals. Rules. Regrets. For the first time in Easton’s life, wearing a Royal crown isn’t enough. He’s about to learn that the higher you start, the harder you fall.
I would like to thank the author for sending me an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I started the Royals series in July and extremely enjoyed reading them. I thought all 5 books will only revolve around Ella and Reed. Little did I know, the fourth book is going to be Easton’s. I was pumped, excited.
Now that I finished the book, all I can think and say is, “WHAT?” Erin Watt is known for their cliffhangers and this is no exception. I cannot move-on from that ending. I can’t.
About Hartley, she’s really fun. I wish we could’ve heard from her point of view too so we can understand her actions even more. Sure, she’s sweet and all of that, but she has so many secrets she have to tell us. Maybe, we’ll get to find out on the next book.
Easton, oh, Easton, honestly, there are times that I get so annoyed of him. Everytime something wrong happens, he go straight to the liquor cabinet and drunk himself until his wasted. Like, how many times did he do something terrible while drunk? SO MANY TIMES. I CAN’T EVEN. But you know what, despite all that, Easton is really lonely. I mean, everyone knows of his issues and they still leave him alone by himself, WHY DO THEY DO THAT?
I didn’t give Fallen Heir a 5 star rating because there are parts of the story that for me was just… meh. I really enjoyed most of it, though. If you are someone who have read the first 3 installment of this series, you will really enjoy this one.
And if you haven’t read any of the books yet, WHY? I mean, go and read them already! They are really fun to read and you cannot stop turning pages until your left with nothing but the question, “When will the next book come out?”
